Temple History

Established in 1976, the temple was built under the guidance and blessings of Chandrasekharendra Saraswati, popularly known as Kanchi Mahaperiyava. Unlike conventional South Indian temples, Ashtalakshmi Temple features a unique multi-level design that allows devotees to worship all eight manifestations of Lakshmi through a structured pathway. The eight forms enshrined here are Adi Lakshmi (Primordial Lakshmi), Dhana Lakshmi (Wealth), Dhanya Lakshmi (Prosperity and Food), Gaja Lakshmi (Power and Royalty), Santana Lakshmi (Children and Family Welfare), Veera Lakshmi (Courage), Vijaya Lakshmi (Victory), and Vidya Lakshmi (Knowledge).
